Elaine Huang
A Southern California native, Elaine (she/her) is currently a first-year medical student. (Her answer will likely change every time you ask about her specialty of interest, so maybe we’ll finalize that part after a few semesters.) Though she now spends the majority of her day at the HSC campus across town, she loves any excuse to explore the rest of LA through Peaks. When she’s not hiking or trapped in the library, she’s probably grabbing late night post-workout tacos with friends, snuggling with her foster kittens, or snapping photos on her paper shoot camera. She’d love to hear your take on her latest binge, Attack on Titan, as well as Priuses and your favorite Trader Joe’s snack. Feel free to ask her about her adventures island hopping around Taiwan on a Fulbright last year, the time when her team accidentally won a dragon boat competition, or her favorite class on fairytales during her undergrad days at USC!
