Maggie McDermott

Maggie is a sophomore studying psychology and public health. From the famous, and pristine, land of New Jersey, she will often be found with a large chai from Dunkin while shaming the Californians who complain “It’s cold” when it goes below 70 degrees.

As she is part of an a cappella group on campus, don’t worry about awkward silence on any trips because she will always fill it with a “la la la!” If she is not jumping with joy while exploring the beautiful nature of Southern California, you can probably find her playing soccer, drinking a thai boba tea, or reading a romance novel on the beach. Everyone is welcome on her trips and she can’t wait to meet you - unless you bring yogurt with you and no she will not elaborate on that! She promises to not get lost on the hike! #yaysenseofdirection
