Alia Chand

Alia Chand is a sophomore Art and Communication double major from Dallas, Texas. Her experience with hiking and camping began at age eight during summer camp in the Rocky Mountains, where she immediately developed an all-out hatred for any kind of hike. After a particularly steep 9-mile hike, reverse psychology worked its magic and Alia came to her senses, and spent her remaining childhood years hiking hundreds of miles across the national park. Her all-time favorite hikes she’s done are Sky Pond and Ypsilon Lake, so if you ever want to take a trip to Colorado, talk to her!
