Join us for a moderate 6 mile hike at the beautiful Bear Canyon, complete with scenic views of Switzer Falls, one of L.A.’s most famous waterfalls.
We will be hiking with Eric Junker, a Design professor here at Roski, with a possible guest appearance from Professor Junker’s son, Rye, who is just as talented an artist as his dad! Professor Junker’s work ranges from film posters to restaurants to murals (check out his work on the wall here at Roski!)

An avid outdoorsman, surfer, and road tripper, Eric Junker channels his restless energy into creating art and design inspired by the colliding energies of his life in the city and his passion for nature and life on the road. His murals can be found throughout Southern California, where he lives, and as far afield as Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mexico, Costa Rica, and New York City. He has also worked as a designer for companies ranging from Patagonia to the GAP to Disney.

Emily Pellegrini is a Sophomore majoring in Design. She also loves the outdoors, Bruce Springsteen and sweet potatoes.
