Dawn Mine w/ Guillaume Dreyer

Come with us and trek to the ruins of the Dawn Mine and explore various historic remnants such as cart wheels and old water pipes or cables. These artifacts were left behind from when the mine used to be active prior to 1954. After exploring the mine, we’ll head back down the Sunset Ridge Trail with some breathtaking views. There will also be lots of shade along the way so the 6-mile loop will not be too bad!

PEAK: Dawn Mine

Cool old rusty things along the way?! Heck yes!!

SCENERY: Lots of shade and remnants of when the mine was active.

FUN FACT: The Dawn Mine was built in 1895 and had some success mining gold from the San Gabriels!
