Come dissect your past relationships with the one and only Sociology of Love professor, Elisabeth Shimada! We will embark on a chill 2.5 hike in Malibu where we will see lovely ocean views and wildflowers, giving us a lovely environment to analyze USC’s dating scene. We will return early afternoon so y’all can get back to studying for finals !

Professor Elisa Shimada is a USC Dornsife Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow. She received her PhD in sociology, with her research focusing on romantic relationships, families, and inequality. In her free time, Professor Shimada enjoys swimming, listening to early 2000s rock music, and playing the same video games over and over again (specifically the Jak and Daxter series and the Far Cry games)
