Join Professor Kurt Kwast from Human Biology for a challenging but rewarding hike with scenic views. If you’re looking for a more intense hike, or a hike where you feel like you really got a work out, this is the perfect trip for you! We’ll take a snack break (or two) and discuss all things related to the human body. Whether you’re a biology whiz, fitness hack or none of the above, you’ll leave this trip knowing infinitely more about the human body and how it works.


PACKING LIST:

  • Snacks!

  • H2O (lots of H2O please)

  • Signed waivers

  • Sturdy shoes (there will some steep parts)

  • Sunscreen

  • Hats (very exposed trail)

Professor Kwast is a professor at the Human Biology department teaching anatomy, physiology and motor control. Outside of class, he leads an incredibly active life. Ask him about skiing, basketball or running!

FUN FACT: There are over 500 miles of hike-able trails in the Santa Monica Mountains
