Peaks and ___: Surf Camping at San Onofre

  • Old Pacific Highway San Clemente, CA, 92672 United States (map)

Signups will go live Sunday after wave release, you will be redirected to the homepage otherwise

DISCLAIMER: SURFING IS HARD, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM WELL.  (Otherwise this is dangerous for you and for us, and that's not cool.  No prior surf experience is required, but we reserve the right to determine your swimming ability and to determine whether you can surf or not with us.)

Feeling SWELL? Dig the dirtbag lifestyle? On a mission to check off every beach name-dropped in the 1963 Beach Boys classic Surfin’ USA? This just might be the trip for you! We’re traveling to San Onofre State Beach, longboard capitol of California, for Peaks and Professors’ FIRST EVER surf overnight trip!

You may be wondering, where’s the professor? This trip might not have one, but it’ll be a great opportunity to make friends, hang ten, and experience a mecca of SoCal surf culture!

We will depart from USC at 1PM and arrive at San Onofre near 3PM for a beach afternoon and sunset surf session. We’ll then return to our campsite above the beach to enjoy warm dinner and good times near the campfire. We’ll then wake up to see the sunrise, and get in the water for an epic dawn patrol! We’ll eat breakfast and enjoy our morning on the beach, before returning to USC by 1PM.
