PEAK: Vasquez Rocks

DIFFICULTY: 2/5

SCENERY: Jagged sandstone literally ERUPTING from the Earth and a lizard or two…

FUN FACT: The rocks are named after one of California’s most notorious bandits, Tiburcio Vasquez, who used them as a hideout in 1874. Vasquez himself is rumored to be one of the inspirations for the fictional character Zorro!
