Professor O’Neill is an Associate Professor of History at USC, and is an expert on all things British! In her research and writing, she has explored topics such as the fascinating tale of two African princes who escaped slavery and ended up in London. Her book The Opened Letter: Networking in the Early Modern British World explores the way letter writing and the postal system helped connect British society in the 17th and 18th centuries. We will also be joined by her husband, an aerospace engineer at JPL.
