Chino Hills Camping w/ Ian Culbertson {Physical Education}


IMPORTANT UPDATE: STARTING 11/5/2023 WE WILL BE REVERTING TO FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Sign ups will open 9PM on Sundays of Wave release (instead of being open 9PM-12AM)

Join us for a weekend out in Chino Hills! Just a 1 hour drive away from campus, we’ll explore the hills of, well, Chino Hills, and camp for a night in the Rolling M. Ranch Campground. We’ll get around to a couple of hikes in the park on both Saturday and Sunday before heading back to campus.

PACKING LIST:

  • Water!!

  • Comfortable hiking/tennis shoes

  • Snacks

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • WAIVERS

WE WILL PROVIDE: FOR OVERNIGHTS ETC

  • Sleeping Bag/Pad

  • Tents

  • Lunch/Dinner

Professor Ian Culbertson teaches classes in Surfing and Backpacking in the Physical Education department at USC. An avid hiker and surfer, if it’s outside, he’s probably done it! One of Peaks’ legend professors, he’s been on some of our gnarliest trips.
