Do you have the Sunday Scaries? If so, take a break and join us on an amazing hike with Professor Calabrese. Join us on this 6.1 mile loop hike along the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula where we will hike alongside the majestic Pacific Ocean and cool lighthouses. (and maybe WWII bunkers??)

PROFESSOR: Peter Calabrese

DEPARTMENT: Quantitative and Computational Biology

RATE MY PROFESSOR: “Dr. Calabrese was by far one of the nicest, most helpful and most understanding professors I have ever had. He doesn't care about testing for memorization and solely cares that his students learn how to perform statistical analyses common in life sciences.”)

Professor Peter Calabrese is an Associate Professor in Quantitative and Computational Biology at the University of Southern California and the Director of Undergraduate Studies for Quantitative Biology. Feel free to talk to him about the probability that a couple who are both carriers for albinism will have exactly 3 children out of 100… or if that isn’t your thing then that’s fine too. He’s also very well versed in R (the program, not the letter unfortunately) if you’re interested in computational biology or mathematical modeling.
