Vedant Lakkundi
Vedant is a QBIO major (still figuring out what that means) from a whopping 10,000 miles away from LA. Having quite literally never been on a long hike before moving to LA, he’s super grateful for all the mountains and trails Peaks has unlocked for him. All of his plans are rooted in spontaneity, which explains why you might find him driving up Big Sur at 5 AM or at Catalina Island on a random Thursday. Vedant’s always finding new outdoorsy hobbies to fill his time and has recently taken on the goal of completing a Half Iron Man before he graduates USC. There’s nothing he loves more than his 5 year old golden retriever Arlo, who he named after the security camera company. If you ever see him on campus, just know that he’s 5 minutes late to wherever he’s supposed to be at that given moment. Be sure to ask him about his love for sci-fi/horror (shoutout Denis Villeneuve the goat), his dream line-up at an electronic music festival, his weird fascination for Berlin, or his near death experience with a semi truck (iykyk).
