Hermit and Sturtevant Falls w/ Gene Bickers {Physics}

Join physics savant and unofficial 31-time “Professor of the Year” winner Gene Bickers on a hike through the Angeles National Forest to two of LA’s most spectacular waterfalls! We’ll be taking a beautiful 5.2 mile hike along the Santa Anita Wash to Hermit and Sturtevant Falls, spending time at each one to enjoy their majesty and hang around the nearby rock pools (with ample opportunity for a swim). The trail will be full of curious cottages, lush forest, and insightful conversation, so come join us for a day of exploring!

RATE MY PROFESSOR: "Straight baller. Best professor at USC hands down, the man is a genius."

When he’s taking a break from running across hot coals and relaxing on beds of nails, Gene Bickers spends his time conducting research on high-temperature superconductors and being one of the most beloved professors at USC. Through his interactive lectures and love for science, Prof. Bickers has won over the hearts of many and continually inspires students to look at their world with wonder. Come with questions, because this man has answers.
