Sespe River Trail w/ Dan Klerman {Law}

  • Piedra Blanca Trailhead (map)

Are you itching to get into nature for a weekend? Want to hop from rock to rock with unbridled, childlike joy? Yearning to follow a winding stream to the nirvana that is camp on the trail? Then the Sespe River Trail is for YOU! Join us for a 2 night expedition into the mountains of Ojai.

We will be leaving USC Friday afternoon, car camping near the trail on Friday night, then waking up bright and early Saturday morning to backpack anywhere from 4-6 miles to a dispersed trail camp. We’ll spend Saturday night out on the trail and hike back on Sunday! This trail has some slight ups and downs in terms of elevation, and it tends to be pretty exposed. Previous backpacking experience is not required, and this trip is great for seasoned backpackers and newcomers alike. YAY!
