Solstice Canyon Loop w/ Ali Pearl {Thematic Option}

  • 3455 Solstice Canyon Road Malibu, CA, 90265 United States (map)

Join Peaks and Professor Ali Pearl from Thematic Option for a chill 3 mile hike with scenic views and lots of abandoned buildings to explore. If you’re looking for an easier hike with lots to see and soak in, this is the perfect trip for you! We’ll take a snack break (perhaps at one of the abandoned buildings) and discuss abolition. Whether you’re engaged in abolitionist work or you have never even heard the word abolition, all are welcome!

Ali is an educator, activist, writer and researcher. After receiving her PhD from USC, she’s been a part of the Thematic Option faculty, where she has been facilitating the most incredible and insightful class discussions for her students through her writing classes. She is involved in a lot of activist work on and off campus, which you should definitely ask her about!
