PROFESSOR: Carolina Castillo Larrea

DEPARTMENT: Spanish

RATE MY PROFESSOR: "Carolina is the reason that I decided to pick up a Spanish minor. Besides being a literal angel, she makes class very interactive with games and cares for each student in class. Easily one of the best professors that I have had here at USC"

Carolina Castillo Larrea grew up in Córdoba, Spain and got her PhD in Spanish Language and Literature at Boston University in 2014. Last year, a Trip Lead convinced her to come on a trip when she was 8 months pregnant and now she's ready to conquer something a bit more challenging! Profesora Castillo has an immense passion for her students and her subject and is particularly interested in teaching methodology and medieval and Renaissance literature.
