IMPORTANT UPDATE: STARTING 11/5/2023 WE WILL BE REVERTING TO FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Sign ups will open 9PM on Sundays of Wave release (instead of being open 9PM-12AM)

Looking for something to do the day after we Beat the Bruins?? Come hike Mt. Baldy with us!! WARNING: This is a very difficult hike!! Please do not sign up unless you are prepared for a 14 mile, 4300ft elevation gain hike. It will potentially be pretty cold as well. But we will see some spectacular views at every step!!

PACKING LIST:

  • Good hiking/tennis shoes

  • Sun protection- sunglasses, hats, sunscreen

  • SO MUCH WATER

  • WAIVERS



PROFESSOR: Amy Braden

Amy Braden is Associate Director of the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute and Director of Programs for the USC Mellon Humanities in a Digital World and USC Mellon Humanities and the University of the Future grants. She received a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Southern California in 2010. Her research focuses on early modern performance, sport, and gender studies. She’s also an avid backpacker and lover of the outdoors!

SCENERY: Mountains! LA! Trees! Everything because you are so high in the sky at 10,000 ft!

FUN FACT: It’s the highest point in LA County!!
