Pull up to this gorgeous 1.9 mile out-and-back in Rancho Palos Verdes! If you like hiking with an amazing professor stunning views of the Pacific Coast, this is the hike for you!

Dr. Patricia Ann George is a seasoned psychologist and a dedicated educator at USC. Her research delves deep into cognitive psychology, with a particular focus on understanding cognitive reserve and brain changes associated with Alzheimer's disease. Over the years, she has contributed significantly to the field, as well as teaching awesome classes exploring topics from happiness to neurodegenerative diseases. Having authored numerous research papers and has collaborated with researchers globally, she’s cemented her place in the expansive field.

But when she's not in the classroom, she LOVES hiking! Dr. George finds joy in exploring the great outdoors and appreciates the serenity and perspective that comes with it. Her passion for understanding the human mind translates beautifully into deep and enriching conversations that she often enjoys during her hikes.
