Cave of Munits w/ Terry Church {Regulatory & Quality Sciences}

Join us for a scenic hike and rock scramble at the illustrious cave of Munits just north of LA! We will be joined by the wonderful Terry Church, and accompanying him to explore one of the oldest caves in Los Angeles.

  • Sturdy Shoes!

  • WAIVERS

  • Snacks (if you fancy)

  • Great energy as always

Note: This will include some light rock scrambling and exploring in the caves, so bring good shoes and a camera for some sick views from inside.

DEPARTMENT: Mann School of Pharmacy

RATE MY PROFESSOR: "An awesome human being"

Dr. Terry Church is an Assistant Professor in Regulatory and Quality Sciences at the USC School of Pharmacy. He specializes in patterns of addiction, the history and geography of drugs, and the regulation of controlled substances. He has given a presentation on “The Science Behind the Hangover” and teaches a course called “Buzzed: Modern Substances of Abuse and Addiction.” Dr. Church is a cyclist in his spare time, and he has completed his second AIDS LifeCycle bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles!

SCENERY: 2-mile loop to the Cave of Munits, with some rock scrambling, cave exploration, and a view of the grassy valley from the top.


FUN FACT: This is a popular spot for birding, hiking, and rock climbing!
