“Dr. Michael Petitti is an Associate Professor (Teaching) in the Thematic Option Honors Program. In Thematic Option, Dr. Petitti teaches courses on literature, film, cultural studies, and writing. He also works with the Prison Education Project (PEP) to teach an introductory film studies course. In addition, Dr. Petitti teaches a summer course on food and class in Los Angeles, and he hosts a revolving film screening series (Tunnel Vision) with an array of special guests. His specializations are cultural studies, film, literature and critical theory, and food studies.“ Read more here

FUN FACT: “Legend has it that theom/los-angeles-wisdom-tree/ Wisdom Tree (or as some call it the Magic Tree) on the summit of Burbank Peak was the only tree left standing after a devastating wildfire fire in 2007 burned more than 817 acres in and around Griffith Park, including Dante’s View and Captain’s Roost”
