Come on a historical 3.4 mile adventure with writing professor Dana Milstein! Along the way we will see beautiful Southern California terrain, great views of Los Angeles, and a former Nazi compound nestled into the hillside.

Professor Milstein is an assistant professor in the Writing Department and loves to incorporate hands-on activities into her classrooms. Dana earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the CUNY Graduate Center, where she also completed a post-master’s certificate in Instructional Technology and Interactive Pedagogy. Initially trained as a classical saxophonist, Dana enjoys songwriting and learning new instruments. Her hobbies include Crossfit and endurance events, fiber arts, game design, and manuscript illumination. She is a specialist in musicopoetics, and publishes on anime, video games, and Steampunk cultures.
