Hey there! Are you tired of all the studying for your finals or midterms? We have got the perfect escape plan for you! Join us on Sunday, April 7th, for an epic day trip to Lake Hollywood Trail with none other than the renowned Architecture Professor Taka Tachibe! This easy, 3.3-mile, paved trail surrounding Lake Hollywood offers views of the Hollywood sign! Ask Taka Tachibe anything you want about architecture or design, an incredible opportunity to learn from an expert outside the studio!

PROFESSOR: Taka Tachibe

DEPARTMENT: School of Architecture

Taka Tachibe is a Lecturer at the School of Architecture, teaching fundamentals of design and embracing the unique perspectives of each of his students! He is also an Architectural Designer at Breland-Harper, where he works on adaptive reuse projects that bring disused industrial buildings back to life! Though he has lived in Berkeley, CA and Princeton, NJ to pursue design degrees, he's proud to call Los Angeles his hometown where the interactions between the artificial and the natural produce a strange beauty!!

FUN FACT: Just 30 minutes off the trail is the Gloriette-R1 instillation by Andrew Kovach, another architecture professor at USC!
