Wanna play with snow? Conclude the winter with a lovely 4.9 mile hike (1400ft elevation) at the Cedar Glen Camp Trail on Mt. Baldy. This snowy hike will offer beautiful mountain views and flowing streams. This is a perfect hike if you are down for breathtaking views and an escape into the Cucamonga Wilderness. We also may get to see some deer if we’re lucky…

PACKING LIST:

  • Sunscreen

  • Your favorite snacks

  • Sturdy hiking shoes (preferably waterproof)

  • Layers (it can get cold)

  • H2O (at least 2L)

  • WAIVERS

Krishna Narayanamurti is a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at the University of Southern California, where he earned a PhD in literature and creative writing and a graduate certificate in religious studies. He also holds a Master of Professional Writing from USC and teaches  undergraduate courses in honors composition (writing about literature, film, and theory) in the Thematic Option Honors Program and religious studies/general education-humanistic inquiry. Krishna’s essays, articles, and poems have appeared in LAist, The GroundTruth Project, Killing the Buddha, The Northridge Review, and elsewhere.
