Join the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and some of USC’s most distinguished engineering faculty on a lovely wander of the beautiful Trail Canyon Falls! This scenic hike is the perfect Sunday breather from the study-filled life of a Viterbi student.

PROFESSOR: Paul Plucinsky
DEPARTMENT: Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering
Paul Plucinsky is a Viterbi Professor who was a postdoctoral scholar in Aerospace and Mechanics and has 3 engineering degrees! He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, A master’s in structural engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering!
PROFESSOR: Adam Smith
DEPARTMENT: Civil and Enviromental Engineering
Adam Smith is a Viterbi Professor teaching Civil and Enviromental Engineering. He earned a Master’s in Enviromental Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. He has also completed extensive research to improve water sustainability!

FUN FACT: Towards the end of this hike we’ll see the beautiful Trail Canyon waterfall which is 40 feet long!
