Dr. Nik Lewis is a professor at the USC Marshall School of Business, where she teaches Organizational Behavior and an elective course on emotional intelligence in leadership. Her work focuses on how emotional intelligence helps leaders build strong teams, motivate others, and navigate the human side of business. Before teaching, she worked managing cross-functional research and development teams, and she still consults with companies of all sizes on leadership and team dynamics.
In class, Professor Lewis is known for making things interactive, thoughtful, and fun! She really cares about her students and creates an environment where people feel comfortable engaging and being themselves
Outside of work, she loves music, games, mindfulness, and basketball, and she is also a talented poet! Whether the conversation is about leadership, creativity, or just life in general, she always brings a thoughtful and energetic perspective, so there will be a lot to talk about on this hike.
