Join yoga professor Stephanie Eggert for a truly once in a lifetime opportunity - an island meditation and yoga retreat! We will be taking the 9 AM boat out of Ventura Harbor and docking at the island after a one hour boat ride. If we’re lucky we might be joined by dolphins swimming along on our journey! After 24 hours of mindfulness, casual hiking, and vegan cooking we will return to the mainland on the noon boat. Professor Eggert is a kundalini yogi, a school of yoga that incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. Beginners are welcome to join, no yoga or meditation experience necessary!
Sleeping pad (recommended)
Backpacking pack (if you own one - the walk from the dock to the campsite is about a mile)
Warm clothes for nighttime
Towel or blanket (to be used as a makeshift yoga mat and/or for drying off)
Refillable water bottle
WE WILL PROVIDE:
Car snacks, Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch!
Sleeping bags/pads if you need them (please let us know if you do!)
