It’s the last tuesday of Spring 2025! Who cares if you’re tired for classes today, you’re probably tired by now anyway? Come join Dr. Broyer and I on an awesome (hopefully beautiful) Los Angeles sunrise hike to Griffith Observatory :)

DEPARTMENT: Chemistry

Rebecca Broyer, a legend within the Chemistry department and Peaks, is an LA native who loves to use liquid nitrogen to make ice cream. She’s a lifetime adventure seeker who surfs and skis often.


PEAK: East Observatory Trail

DIFFICULTY: 2/5

SCENERY: the gorgeous gorgeous LA city skyline + griffith + a colorful sunrise (weather permitting)

FUN FACT: Public telescope viewing at Griffith is freeeeeeeeee
