DIFFICULTY: 2/5

SCENERY: Lined with oaks and alder throughout and several river crossings, we’ll enjoy some mountain views before dropping back down to enjoy the falls!

FUN FACT: Halfway on the hike, we’ll arrive at what’s left of Switzer Trail Camp, started in 1884 by Commodore Perry Switzer, a Pasadena Carpenter. At one point, there were a series of these mountain resorts all through Angeles National Forest during “the Great Hiking Era” during the 1800s.
