Join the Associate Director of the Early Modern Studies Institute and hiking expert, Amy Braden, on a very challenging but very rewarding 17 mile hike up San Jacinto Mtns, the TALLEST mountain in Southern California, via Vivian Creek! We'll start from the trailhead and hike the trail up to San Gorgonio Mtn. We will stop for lunch and a conversation on the Early Modern period before heading down the trail back to the trailhead. It’ll definitely be a long day of hiking, but beautiful views of trees, creeks and great views make it so worth it for the adventurous of hikers.
