Have you stared up at the stars and wanted to get closer to them? Have you wondered how astronomers take the most incredible pictures of the universe and analyze them for answers? Come talk with Professor Kenneth Phillips as we hike the short loop around Mt. Wilson Observatory where we will pass by and discuss the various telescopes and other astronomical equipment located there.

PACKING LIST:

  • Hiking shoes (or a decent pair of sneakers)

  • Water (at least 1L)

  • lunch/Snacks

  • Hat and Sunscreen

  • Waivers
