Wisdom Tree w/ Chris Magriney {EALC}

Signups will go live Sunday after wave release. Before that , the buttons above will redirect you to the homepage .

Feeling unprepared for finals? Regretting skipping class for the last three months? Join us for a hike to the WISDOM TREE and rest easy knowing you are absolutely guaranteed to pass all your tests with flying colors* This short but intense day hike traverses Griffith Parth and offers stunning views of the park and the LA area from the top, where the tree stands out above the city. A popular site for geocaching, this trail is well-loved and an exciting adventure close to campus.

After meeting in the morning on campus at 8:00, we will drive to Griffith Park to start our hike. Professor Magriney will join us there and accompany us as we take on the intense elevation gain to the summit. After resting at the top, we’ll return the way we came to deliver everyone back to campus by 3:00 pm at the latest. We hope you join us for the quick but rewarding trip with an amazing professor.

*Peaks and Professors cannot guarantee that the Wisdom Tree will imbue you with the knowledge needed to pass your finals. The Wisdom Tree may or may not pass on the secrets of the universe and time itself to you, but in the event that it does not, Peaks holds no liability for this.

PROFESSOR: CHRIS MAGRINEY

DEPARTMENT: EALC

RATE MY PROFESSOR: "A great professor. Really cares about his students and makes everything crystal clear, especially when it comes to homework. Always enthusiastic and someone you can talk to one-on-one"

Beloved in the EALC department for his thoughtful teaching and dedication to his students, Professor Magriney has developed a bit of a fandom around him and his classes for Chinese language students. Just as dynamic outside of the classroom as within, Professor Magriney is an avid hiker and is excited to join Peaks for this day hike to the Wisdom Tree. Ask him about his classes or when he lived in Taiwan!

PEAK: WISDOM TREE
