Spend your Saturday on a lovely 4 mile hike in Malibu with Writing professor Cory Nelson! We will hike past the beautiful wildflowers and enjoy amazing Malibu Lake views.

Professor Nelson joined USC’s writing program in 2014. Her doctoral research looked at post identity politics in American theater, using archives from the Public Theater and the Mark Taper Forum.
At USC, she teaches writing and argument to undergraduates and leads a writing workshop for advanced graduate students. Her current research focuses on graduate level teaching, especially how the dissertation works as a changing and evolving genre.
